Red John is NOT Bertram.

A Cat and mouse game where the cat tries to kill the mouse without giving it the opportunity to defend itself?

Bertram's on the run and he's a hunted man now because of Jane's announcement to the press. But there's no chance he's Red John now.

There's no positive chemistry between Jane and Betram, which has already been stated to clearly exist.

I agree, but I don't think Chris Abbot is Red John either. Wouldn't make any sense for them to put a new suspect into the mix the episode before the big reveal.Â

No but someone definetly got hypnotised. I think he is very likely to be involved. If he did hypnotise Jane there is your answer. But I think it could be Abbot where alot of people assume straight away that it is Gale.

Jane is no idiot, and as far as we know HE wants to KILL red john HIMSELF!

this gives only one true option left: he revealed the fake red john(bertram) and hunts down the real one now....(he wouldn't get to bertram even close now that everyone is looking for him)

Bertram is not RJ, they wouldn't reveal it before the actual "RJ" episode. He is 'just' the leader of the Tyger-Tyger Conspiracy. RJ is a completely different person, either Stiles or Partridge.

The RJ episode has been leaked here... http://watchseries.lt/episode/the_mentalist_s6_e8.html

No joke. I just watched it.

Not giving anything away... but seriously watch it as soon as you can :DÂ

Guys red john isnt bertram and i guessed who he was from the first ever season!

I figured it out after figuring out the "He is Mar" blood message was really "Me is Mc" + the left riser of the "A". And posted it at the time. I also figured that RJ would fake his death near the end here. Was also really worried when it looked like Bertram was RJ, because (1) Bertram would not have needed to hire a PI to plant a bug in CBI's offices and (2) Bertram's name didn't fit the "He is Mc" blood message.
