I can't believe someone changed this Red John face to Gale Betram. I know tonight's episode said that, but anyone who watches this show should at least have a pause in their mind about him actually being RJ. Patrick Jane told the press Bertram is RJ, but that means nothing to me. Patrick says things like that all the time. It makes a much better story if next week's episode takes a total right turn, and RJ is someone else. I actually left this episode with the sense that Oscar Cordero is Red John. It fits very well to me except for the fact that his character was only introduced recently, but this can be fixed with flashbacks showing he was always around. The other thing is Cordero wasn't in Jane's list of suspects, but I don't rally think that matters, the writers want big twists and when they promised RJ was in that episode a few back with the 5 suspects shown ... Cordero WAS technically in that episode! Also, the RJ voice shown at tthe end of the episode as next week's episode doesn't sound at all like Bertram but Oscar Cordero's voice could totally sound like that if he purposely spoke higher and creepier. I realize it is convenient to change RJ's face to Bertram for now, but I'm thinking it will change to someone else next week. It may not be Cordero, but I am seriously doubting it is Bertram. Bertram has in recent weeks been the most popular fan pick so it would be amazing if they make you think it's him and then be like, "gotcha!" Any thoughts?

Ugh...I'd much rather Bertram be RJ than McAllister. I wanted Partridge to be RJ but I can live with Bertram. Also, bear in mind that while it appears to be Bertram is in the 6x08 promo, that doesnt necessarily mean he's RJ. Producers love to mash various scenes and audio together in promos just to confuse viewers. Â

RJ is not definitely Smith or Bertram. Just watched that episode eith preview and you can actually see glimpse of red john when he jump into the glass. Looks like Haffner or maybe Mcallister. The man is too thin to be Smith and look like he has blond hair so maybe Haffner or possible McAllister or even Bret Stiles fit into that description.

seems to be McAllisters stunt double...i really don't care who it is anymore, cause all of them are bad choices...

I have also concidered its one of the three supposed dead. We cant trust any verified anything because anyone can be part of the Blake crew and lying. I still stand by I think its Smith.... even though that will piss me off. For so long I have had this image of RJ as a cunning, slick ass, manipulative ghost who can even out wit the great patrick jane..... Reede fat ass Smith just doesn't do justice for what my expectations are. I put my money on it being him though. Ive been waiting for so long to find out who RJ, I cant believe im going to know soon. I will be sad when its over though

I guess none of you saw the leaked episode. It's McAllister. The reveal isn't that big. Jane already knew it was McAllister. That's why he brought a pidgeon with him.

The episode just ended. Â Im glad I started this discussion. Â I'm glad it really wasn't Bertram! Â Yea for McAllister as RJ. Â Yea for the death of RJ. Â Great end of RJ episode! Â We'll see how long it takes the admin's to switch rj to McAllistor... atleast they put it back to the smiley face and it says portrayed by unknown. Â Great end to RJ... would have been nice if Patrick let RJ talk and explain more but o well keeps some of the mystery.

Just saw it! It was nice to see RJ getting his just desserts, but also more than a little harrowing seeing Patrick sacrifice a part of his soul when he strangled him to death.

Did anyone think RJ was trying to tell PJ about his source for the list, that it was Rigsby?

RJ knew about the list in 5x22, Rigsby got the names in 6x01, so nope.
