<p>Not so sure about that. '<i>Mentalist</i> has won a pretty good Sunday night viewership. May be 'the worst' time slot; but, that's what viewers are used to.
</p><p>Could be best to leave scheduling 'as is' for the first 13 episodes of Season 7. </p>

<p>Yea, I like to have it on Sundays better, even though it got cut off by football and everything, the season will only be 13-14 episodes and end soon so I think they should leave it as is. </p>

You'd think so. But, it looks like a new CSI (<i>CSI: Cyber</i>) will get the '<i>Mentalist</i> Sunday spot. </p><p>Evidently, '<i>Mentalist </i>will likely premiere in January on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 8PM or 9PM Central Time. </p>

<p>Why do you think Tuesday or Thursday?  Also I keep reading about this being a 13-episode season.  What is the source of that?  I cannot find anything from a reliable source about the number of episodes or the day/time it the show will air.  The only thing I have seen from CBS is that the show will be renewed for a 7th season.  I am VERY happy about the renewal and hope for as many episodes as possible. </p>

<p>We also supported the campaign. We had a banner on the frontpage of the Wiki during several weeks inviting people to join the project of the SaveMentalist Team. They really did an amazing job. :)

Me, too. </p><p>"Tuesdays or Thurdays" and the time slot is speculation from one report. Some fans have been promoting a return to Thursday nights. Right now, Thursday does seem to be a pretty good bet for Season 7. </p><p>A January 2015  (maybe late December 2014) startup for Season 7 looks pretty certain.
