I really like Jane, I mean sure he is the protag, but damn Kimball Cho is such a catcher!!! He is pretty looking, the typical few words poker face guy, smart, funny, charismatic. and as a trans gay man, he is THE MAN and damn want to be like him.
Patrick Jane is a narcissist and a sociopath. Killing the fake Red John might have scared him but the way he took pleasure in killing the real Red John means that he likes killing. Most likely if the show would have continued, he would have become a serial killer himself. There were two episodes in the seventh season where Teresa tells Patrick that she loves him and on both occasions he didn't say it back. He didn't say it because he doesn't really care. It's just something that amuses him at the time. Patrick only cares about what Patrick wants. The way that the writer's introduced Michelle Vega at the beginning of the seventh season, only to kill her off needlessly in the 10th episode was so stupid.
