Dale Blakely is a homicide detective of Davis PD who appears in The Thin Red Line, working alongside Steve Presiado. Over 20 years ago, he had an illegitimate daughter, Patrice Madigan, who was accidentally murdered by his son, Sam Blakely. He also has a wife, Katherine, and they later adopt Patrice's daughter, Kaylee.
