Ed Hunt appeared in the episode If It Bleeds, It Leads. He was a criminal accomplice to Tommy Volker.
Tommy and Ed were good friends and both knew about cars. Tommy had dared Ed to tamper with the brakes on Cassandra Flood's car. Cassandra had a news piece on Volker with evidence that would have gotten him in a lot of trouble. Ed tampered with her car and sent her death threats as a means to scare her out of town.
Cassandra's car went careening off of a cliff, but she was still alive. A man under the employ of Volker, (Charles Milk, name not known at this time), went down the ravine, made sure she was dead and stole the evidence she had on Volker.
