Francesca Ehrlich appeared in the episode Panama Red. She was an executive at the tobacco company that murder victim, Jeremy Reese worked at.
Jeremy had cultivated a new strain of marijuana seed with a higher boasted THC rating on Matthew Gold's farm. Jeremy took the seeds to his other job, working with a tobacco company. The tobacco company was hoping to corner the market when marijuana was to become decriminalized. However, Jeremy's project was put on ice, so Jeremy went to take his seeds out of the safe at the tobacco company and put them in his safe back at home.
Matthew, having felt betrayed that Jeremy took the seeds, shot Jeremy in the back as he was indoor rock climbing. Then he went into Jeremy's house, opened his safe and stole the seeds.
What both Jeremy and Matthew failed to realize is that Francesca at the tobacco company was planning her own corporate espionage. She had stolen Jeremy's seeds to sell them on the black market and replaced them with ordinary hemp seeds.
