Morena Baccarin is a Brazilian actress who portrays Erica Flynn on The Mentalist.
She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to actress Vera Setta and journalist Fernando Baccarin. She is of Italian ancestry. Baccarin moved to New York at the age of 10, when her father was transferred there. She was raised in New York.
She is most famous for her role as Inara Serra in sci-fi series Firefly.
