Patrice Madigan is one of the murder victims in The Thin Red Line. When she was 16, her mother was dying and she finally got in touch with her father, Dale. Four years later, Patrice and her boyfriend, Joseph Purcell, the state witness against the Rick Carass trial, were murdered by Sam Blakely. She also has a daughter, Kaylee, who Patrice left in her car before being murdered. Kaylee was later adopted by Patrice's father, Dale, and his wife, Katherine.
