Sam Blakely appears in The Thin Red Line. He found the bodies of Patrice Madigan and Joseph Purcell. His father is Dale Blakely, a senior cop that works in the Davis Police Department along with Steve Presiado. Sam is revealed to be the murderer at the end and arrested.
